Wesley S. Randall, Ph.D., Professor of Logistics, is Dean of New College, and is responsible for the University of North Texas’s regional campus operations. Dr Randall is charged with building innovative partnership and curriculum strategies that make the University of North Texas regional campus operations the first choice for generation z, adult learners, and transfer students. Dr Randall is a leading researcher in the area of complex system maintenance, repair, and overhaul, and performance based contracting (PBC). Dr Randall was selected as a DC Velocity Rainmaker in 2010. Dr. Randall is a retired USAF officer. He served as a program manager on major acquisition projects such as the F-22 and F-16. He was also a logistics commander, and an operational logistician employing the F-16, A-10, & F-117 aircraft in peace time and war. His research has dozens of articles appearing in journals such as Journal of Business Logistics, Defense Acquisition Review, Journal of Supply Chain Management, European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management, Journal of Transportation Management, Transportation Journal, and The International Journal of Logistics Management.
