I try and do my best at all times, and I love helping people. I am working slowly toward the goal of helping out fellow humans in our collective time here. I work in IT but I have a general interest in nearly everything and do things very well on my own, communication with others is key. My overall objective is to learn more about myself, others, and life. My greatest asset is learning and figuring things out, troubleshooting skills are second to few. I have not gotten into cryptocurrency and blockchain heavily. I started a small business mining coins and consulting others on building small rigs all the way up to large-scale operations. I'm a highly technical person and love to build computers, and love to teach people about blockchain and crypto. The underlying technology of blockchain excites me the most about how it will impact the internet and society in general.

Composer & Electric Violinist
close
info:

Composer and multi-instrumentalist Zuriel Merek captivates his audiences with passionate electric violin performances. He seamlessly integrates classical technique with modern innovations and technologies he developed over the past decade while playing rock and other popular styles of music with many of the most outstanding bands in DFW’s music scene. As a solo artist, he specializes in live looping—the recording and playback of music in real-time—with his freshly reimagined arrangements of contemporary songs and a curated repertoire that spans a wide range of rock, pop, and soundtrack favorites from artists such as U2, Adele, Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, Elvis Presley, Maroon 5, Guns N' Roses, and Hans Zimmer. Zuriel forged his musical journey alongside a career teaching high school AP and IB history classes, and in 2017, with the support of his students and fellow faculty, he took the courageous leap to invest fully in his music career and release his debut solo instrumental album, The Tao Less Traveled. Zuriel produced, composed for, and performed all the instruments on the record—an original, emotive blend of rock, classical, and cinematic soundscapes. Zuriel performs both as an original music act with his backing band and as a cover artist via his solo electric violin live looping experience.

info:
As an artist who works in a diverse variety of media, I experiment with aleatoric processes to create strong personal moments, masterfully, by means of rules and omissions, acceptance and refusal and by enticing the viewer round and around in circles. I often allow the inventive process to be decided by the hands of fate. With the digital glitch these unexpected visual disruptions are spontaneous and accidental in appearance, caused by digital means. My art is associated with my preoccupation with the acceleration of technology and its multifaceted advances in our lives. In my art, I try to draw my audience to both the negative and positive outcomes associated with our daily uses of technology. My works do not place an identifiable form, rather, the results are taken apart to the extent that significance is shifted and possible interpretation becomes multi-layered. I use a visual vocabulary that addresses many diverse social and political issues. My work incorporates time as well as space allowing an imagined and experiential universe that only emerges bit by bit.My art utilizes lo-fi visual effects like stop –motion which gives a tangible eminence and a human element to the art piece. I create short narratives using miniature robot sculptures made of discarded electronics. I use electronic parts effecting a robotic look that reflects technologic culture. I create a look of entropy in a futuristic environment, creating a poignant and psychological disturbing narrative.

Blockchain Certificates for Graduates and Attendees!

We have brought in world class blockchain trainers from across the country to offer over ten (10) in-person training courses. This is the first blockchain conference in the DFW metroplex (Dallas, TX) to offer students blockchain-based certificates of completion with the same enterprise software MIT uses to issue blockchain based diplomas to graduates. Trainees will be awarded their Course Completion Certificate as a blockchain based record using Blockcerts (open source) thanks to our generous sponsor Learning Machine!  Attendees may email info@futureofblockchainconference.com to be issued proof of presence certificates as well.

The Location

Dallas-Frisco Conference Center 7600 John Q Hammons Drive Frisco, TX 75034

Blockchain Technology

Blockchain technology, also known as DLT (distributed ledger technology), secures information and promotes transparency of transactions with an immutable ledger.  Developed first for cryptocurrencies and smart contracts, DLT offers a mechanism for companies to improve efficiency, trust and provenance of data while reducing cost and waste.  This is going to profoundly change the way business is conducted and create new careers for the future. Marc Andreessen (CoInventor of Netscape) says, “I firmly believe 20 years from now we will be taking about blockchain technology as we now talk about the internet”.

Igniting Innovation & Opportunity

According to a survey by World Economic forum, blockchain is anticipated to account for 10% of GDP in less than 10 years. In 2017, $8B was invested in blockchain startups and over $3B was in revenue from the blockchain enterprise sector.  For every 15 jobs in blockchain, there is only 1 qualified individual.  Prepare for the future with world class live training appropriate for newcomers, developers, managers, C-suite executives and business support professionals who need to understand the needs of their customers.  Get trained and get your course diploma with the same enterprise software that issues MIT graduates their blockchain diplomas.

International Collaboration

As progressive businesses scour the world for blockchain talent, Dallas-Frisco, TX is the natural place to find it.  Not only does it’s central location make it one of the most geographically desirable hotspot’s for technology jobs and business in America, but it has affordable international flights, reasonably priced premiere accommodations, world class universities and business friendly government. Learn blockchain while at the epicenter of explosive growth of new corporate headquarters for finance, eSports and technology verticals. This conference is an opportunity to bring together the east coast, the west coast and the global community.
